    Coach, Men's Basketball

Former Kennesaw State men’s basketball coach Tony Ingle will be inducted into the KSU Athletics Hall of Fame on Oct. 7 as part of the 2022 class, honoring one of the most influential figures in program history. The winningest coach in school history, Ingle compiled a 178-166 record over 11 seasons and led the Owls to the 2004 NCAA Division II National Championship, the only NCAA men’s basketball title in Georgia history. He also guided KSU through its transition to Division I, where the program quickly found success, including back-to-back .500 conference seasons in the ASUN and a program-best 10-10 mark in 2005-06.

Under his leadership, the Owls produced multiple all-conference selections and award winners while continuing to build a competitive foundation at the Division I level. Ingle also led KSU to its first-ever ASUN Tournament semifinal appearance in 2010 and earned national and conference coaching honors, including NCAA Division II Coach of the Year in 2003-04. His ability to elevate the program, develop talent, and sustain success solidified his legacy as one of the most impactful coaches in Kennesaw State Athletics history.
