Cambria McKay played four seasons at Kennesaw State (2001-06), starting 240 games behind the plate for the Owls. Coming all the way from Brampton, Ontario, Canada, McKay helped KSU win a 2004 Peach Belt Tournament Championship, make two appearances in the Division II NCAA Tournament (2004, 2005) and transition to the Division I level in 2006. A three-time Division II All-American selection, she made an immediate impact in her first season as an Owl hitting .380 while leading the team with 53 RBIs and 16 home runs to earn second-team DII All-American accolades. McKay continued to elevate her game in 2004, starting all 70 games behind the plate. She hit over .350 for the second straight season while blasting a team-high 20 home runs, the current KSU single-season record, for 70 RBIs. McKay went on to earn First-Team DII All-American and Peach Belt Co-Player of the Year accolades. In the Owls' final season at the Division II level, McKay recorded her third straight season with at least 50 RBIs (52) to help vault her to Third Team DII All-American honors. A three-time Peach Belt All-Conference selection, she helped KSU transition to the Division I level in 2006, becoming one of the first Owls in history to earn First-Team ASUN All-Conference accolades. McKay finished her career with 58 total home runs, a mark that still stands as KSU's all-time career leader. She also ranks among the top-three all-time at KSU for career RBIs (210), walks (173), slugging percentage (.667) and games played (240).
