Current and longtime college football official who has been with the Atlantic Coast Conference since 1980; officiated more than 30 college football bowl contests since 1983, including national title matchups and Southeastern Conference championship games; served as president of the Georgia Football Officials Association in 1984 and 10 years later, he established Samples Construction company in Kennesaw; A.S. in building construction technology.
