Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Andy Eggerth's Thoughts on the Final Day of the ASUN Championship
"After the indoor championship, I told the women that championships aren't won at the meet, they are won through our decisions everyday...nutrition, sleep, focus and work ethic in practice. What was earned clearly unfolded this weekend. Many of our women had phenomenal performances. Others were primed and ready to go performing well in some events but just not quite timing up technique in others. And unfortunately some were injured and others just didn't handle business day in and day out. I'm so proud of those who worked their tails off all season and there are few things more pleasing for a coach to see than their successes at the championship."
