KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State will open its 2026 outdoor track & field season at the, Friday and Saturday at the George C. Griffin Track and Field Facility.
The meet will start at 11:30 a.m. with the hammer throw before the full slate of field events all begin at 5:30 p.m. Friday's running events will begin at 6 p.m. as the 5000m races close the night out at 8:15 p.m. Saturday's field events will all start at noon as the track races commence at 1 p.m. concluding with the 4x400m relay at 3:40 p.m.

Sunny skies are forecasted for both days of competition. Friday's high temperature is expected to be 73, while Saturday could reach 78.

A week after earning first team All-America honors with a eighth-place weight throw finish at the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships,
Kali Terza will get her outdoor campaign started. She is entered in the women's hammer throw.
School Record Holders Returning
The school record holder in seven events plus six of the eight record holders in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays are back on the men's side.
On the women's side, KSU returns three individual school record holders plus all four members of the 4x400m relay squad who set a new program in 2025.

Kennesaw State will send athletes to a pair of meets next week, including the Raleigh Relays (March 26-27 at NC State) and host the Don McGarey Invitational (March 27-28 at the Kennesaw State Track and Field facility).
