The Owls will be playing the Furman Paladins at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN3.

Sydney Farwick was named the A-Sun Player of the Week for the second time this season after totaling seven points with five goals and two assists in the victory over Mercer.

Taylor McGhee was honored by the conference office by being named to the A-Sun All-Academic Team on Monday. McGhee holds a 3.78 majoring in management. She is second on the team with 29 goals and 36 points.
THE COMPETITIONFurman Furman is a first year program that finished their first season 9-6 and 4-3 in conference play.
Being a first year program, they only have two juniors and the rest of the team is freshman and sophomores.
Freshman attacker Britt Douglass leads the team with 40 goals.
Maggie Friel has played almost every minute for the Paladins in the cage and has made 104 saves on the season with an average save percentage of .405.
In the first meeting with Furman, the Paladins won 19-8 after jumping out to a big lead early.
Rachel Whitten is the head coach at Furman.

Connor Zophy came down with it allowing the Owls to run the clock out and book their ticket in the A-Sun tournament with the win over Mercer.
Coach Llanes on the Team's Game Against Mercer» "We prepared a lot for composure. We knew it was going to be a tight game, and we knew Mercer was going to come out strong. The biggest emphasis this week was controlling the tempo and that paid off for us towards the end of the game."
KSU as a Team » After the win in the regular season finale, the Owls finished the season with a 5-4 record at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
» The Owls trailed by as much as three goals to Mercer in the second half before storming back to win in the final minutes. It was the second comeback win on the season for KSU. Against LIU Brooklyn, the team trailed by four goals before making it's comeback to win by one goal.
» Coming into the season, the Owls team record for assists in a game was eight. So far this season, KSU has surpassed that number three times against Delaware State, Gardner Webb and Howard. Kennesaw State had 10 assists against the Hornets, nine assists against the Runnin' Bulldogs and 11 assists against Howard.

Lucy Mills set new career highs in goals and points against Mercer. She had five goals and an assist to total six points in the game. After not scoring in the first three games,
Lucy Mills tallied a goal in nine of her next 11 games that she played in. She scored in every conference game except against Jacksonville.
» Farwick leads the team with 51 points on 40 goals and 11 assists. The 40 goals set a new career high for her by 12 goals.
» Since making the switch to defense,
Haley O'Donoghue has been a menace. In four A-Sun games, she has come up with 10 ground balls and forced six caused turnovers.
