KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse continues to shine in the classroom, as the Owls were named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for the 2026 season for the sixth straight year, the national organization announced Wednesday. Eight players from the Black and Gold were also named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll.
Just 357 schools across Division I, II, III and NAIA received Honor Squad status, in which a team must have posted a 3.2 or higher team GPA for the academic year.
Elle Busby, Kendal Elison, Julia Ferguson, Shannon Harrington, Reece Morrish, Jordyn Olivo, Aislinn Pendergast, and Cybella Smith all earned spots on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll for having earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.
This marked the second straight year Elison, Ferguson, Harrington, Morrish, Olivo, and Pendergast were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll for having earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or higher.
The IWLCA honors come just over a month after five players were selected to the CSC Academic All-District team.
