» The Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team will look to push its win streak to three in a row against Coastal Carolina at 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 22. The game will be broadcasted on ESPN3.
» Sydney Farwick has totaled 11 points in the last two Owl wins against LIU Brooklyn and Gardner Webb. Against the Blackbirds, she had three goals and two assists in the second half to lead the Owls on a come back, and she scored five goals and had one assist in the 15-7 win against the Runnin' Bulldogs.
» Goalie Allison Senft continued her strong play posting her fourth game in a row with double-digit saves with 11. She also led the Owls to a perfect 5 for 5 on clears.
 
THE COMPETITION
COASTAL CAROLINA                       
Coastal Carolina is 4-3 overall in 2015. They have beaten two Atlantic Sun teams in Stetson and Furman and lost to Jacksonville.
 
The other common opponents that the Chanticleers have with the Owls are Delaware State and Elon, where they beat the Hornets and lost to the Phoenix.
 
Jen Cosgrove leads Coastal Carolina with 13 goals on the season.
 
Goalie Jenna Stover leads the team with 16 ground balls. She has made 45 saves on the year and has a .425 save percentage.
 
Head Coach Jaime Sellers is in her fourth season with Coastal Carolina.

This Week in KSU Lacrosse
»    Kennesaw State will finish their non-conference play on Sunday, March 22 against the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers at 1 p.m. Then, the Owls will play two A-Sun games next week against Furman on Wednesday, March 25 at 6 p.m. and Detroit on Sunday, March 29 at 12 p.m.

»    The Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team won its second game in a row defeating the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs 15-8 on Tuesday, March 17.

KSU as a Team                                   
» After winning two in a row to move to 3-6, the Owls are 3-1 at home in Fifth Third Bank Stadium. After dropping the home opener to Winthrop, KSU has won its last three games on their home field.
» The come from behind victory against LIU Brooklyn was the largest deficit that Kennesaw State has overcome in its three seasons as a program. KSU trailed the Blackbirds by four goals at 6-2 in the first half and trailed by three goals at halftime.
»  Coming into the season, the Owls team record for assists in a game was eight. So far this season, KSU has surpassed that number twice against Delaware State and Gardner Webb. Kennesaw State had 10 assists against the Hornets and had nine assists against the Runnin' Bulldogs.
 
KSU Individually                               
» Freshman Connor Zophy matched Farwick's six points against Gardner Webb having five assists and one goal. The five assists is the most a player has had in a game at Kennesaw State.
»Freshman Laura Jordan has made an early impact on the defensive end. She is second on the team the team with 22 ground balls and 15 draw controls. She leads the team with 11 caused turnovers.
»Taylor McGhee continued to be an offensive force for Kennesaw State scoring twice for the Owls and having an assist to total three points. She is second on the team with 21 points.
