MACON, Ga. – Kennesaw State could not stop Mercer's fast start on offense, as the Owls fell to the Bears in a Wednesday afternoon road game 20-4 in women's lacrosse action from Five Star Stadium.
KEY PLAYERS: Freshman
Lexi Tinker led the Owls in scoring with a pair of goals, while
Shannon Harrington and
Cohen Ridenour both added one goal each.
THE RUNDOWN: KSU was held to just one goal in the opening half, a score by Harrington for the fifth overall goal of the afternoon. Tinker then scored the first two goals after halftime, while Ridenour's goal came with eight minutes left in the fourth quarter.
NOTES
-KSU finished with nine shots on goal, and nine ground balls.

Mia Nardi had a team-high seven saves in the net, while
Roxy Surridge finished with five and
Natalia Cruz had two.
