EUGENE, Ore. – Kennesaw State women's lacrosse fell behind early to Oregon (2-1) and couldn't find enough offense for a fourth quarter comeback, as the Owls (1-3) suffered a 15-8 setback on Sunday afternoon at Pape Field.
KEY PLAYERS: Freshman

Bailey Wilson recorded a game-high seven draw controls.
THE RUNDOWN: Oregon scored the first three goals of the afternoon and six of the first seven for a 6-1 edge with nine minutes left in the second quarter. A score by Farley to close out the third quarter kept KSU within reach at 11-7. The Ducks then shut down any threat of a comeback with three unanswered scores for a 14-7 advantage, with two of the goals coming off man-up advantages.
QUOTABLE:
"I felt like our points of pride were our efforts on the draw circle with Jaxsyn), Bailey, Lauren (Dobbs) and Leyton (Payne) and with our goalie play. Both goalies did a good job and anchored our team.
Shannon Harrington provided a great offensive spark for us. I saw some great moments, and we have some things we need to work on for the next game for us to come out on top."
