Joshua Mulder is competing unattached and is leading the decathlon at the end of day one. Joe also had a great high jump with a PR 1.79m and is sitting top 8 going into day two," Eggeth said.

"Iyanna did open with a whopping one and a half second personal record in the 100m hurdles. De'Von broke the heptathlon 200m record and was only .03 seconds off of the heptathlon 100m hurdle record. At the end of day 1, De'Von is winning the heptathlon in her first ever attempt, Shakedra is sitting fourh, and Iyanna is sitting in 11th; so we're sitting good, just not where we could be. De'Von is in position that she could break the heptathlon record tomorrow if she puts together three good events," Eggerth said.
The heptathlon and decathlon will conclude with the final three heptathlon events and the final five decathlon events along with the more meet events on Friday April 15.
