Kennesaw State Team Notes
• Kennesaw State has had a lot of success against Howard in its first three seasons. The Owls got the first program win against the Bison back in 2013 and in the last two seasons have won by an average of 15.5 goals. The four goals that KSU held Howard to last season is the least amount of goals that the team has given up in a game.
• Last year, Monica Albertson set a KSU single-game record with nine points against the Bison. She scored seven goals on seven shots and had two assists as well.
• Against Mercer, Connor Zophy had two goals to lead the Owls on the offensive end. She scored the opening goal of the game in the first half and then scored the first goal in the second half as well.
• This season Kennesaw State has had 14 players score goals through 11 games. Last season, the Owls had 13 goal scorers total for the entire season. Against Longwood alone, Kennesaw State had 10 different players score in the game.
Olivia Hokanson leads the team with 25 goals after a four-goal performance against Stetson. In her career, she has 68 goals in a little over a season and a half of play.
• KSU picked up 43 ground balls against Mercer last Sunday, April 10. That is a season high for Kennesaw State.
