Game Preview
Kennesaw State will carry a two game winning streak into Atlantic Sun Conference play against the Jacksonville Dolphins. JU has won the A-Sun three years in a row and has never lost an A-Sun game.
 
Through the three years, KSU and Jacksonville have faced off four times previously.
 
Kennesaw State Team Notes
• Kennesaw State is currently on a two-game winning streak after defeating Radford and Saint Mary's. During the winning streak, the Owls have outscored their opponents 36-19.
• Entering conference play, KSU is second in the A-Sun in points per game, assists per game and draw controls per game.
• This season Kennesaw State has already had 14 players score goals through eight games. Last season, the Owls had 13 goal scorers total for the entire season. Against Longwood alone, Kennesaw State had 10 different players score in the game.
Olivia Hokanson totaled a season high in points and goals with five goals and two assists for seven points against Radford. She leads the team with 20 goals and has six assists on the season. She has scored in every game this season extending her current goal streak to 15 games.
• Saint Mary's was the second game in a row where the team had at least three players score three goals in the game. Against the Gaels, Hokanson had three, Sydney Farwick had three and Connor Zophy had three.
• In the A-Sun statistical rankings, Hokanson and Farwick are both towards the top in goals per game and assists per game. Hokanson is second in the A-Sun averaging 2.5 goals per game after leading the team with 20 through the first eight games. Farwick is second in the A-Sun with 1.40 assists per game after dishing out seven dimes in five games.
• The Owls won the most draw controls all season against St. Mary's with 19. KSU was led by Haley Swift, who set a career high in the game by winning seven of the 19. Kennesaw State is currently second in the A-Sun winning 12.12 per game.
• In the past three games alone, Haley O'Donoghue has won eight draw controls. In her first two seasons at Kennesaw State, she had won 10 draw controls.
• Zophy has 13 goals through eight games this season. During her freshman campaign last season she finished with 10 goals.
Emily Hallberg has had a great start to her sophomore season. She is tied for the lead on the team with 16 ground balls and is fourth on the team winning seven draw controls. The 16 ground balls has already surpassed her output from her freshman season as she finished last year with 10 ground balls.
