Game Preview
After beating Radford on the road, KSU returns home to Fifth Third Bank Stadium to take on Saint Mary's on Wednesday, March 23 at 4 p.m. The Gaels are 0-7 on the season. They have lost every game by double figures and the closest game they have had this season was losing by 12 goals to UC Davis.
 
Kennesaw State and Saint Mary's have played once before and the Gaels beat the Owls in the spring of 2014.

Kennesaw State Team Notes
• With the victory against Radford, the Owls scored a season high 19 goals in the game. That total is the fourth most by a Kennesaw State team.
• This season Kennesaw State has already had 14 players score goals through seven games. Last season, the Owls had 13 goal scorers total for the entire season. Against Longwood alone, Kennesaw State had 10 different players score in the game.
Olivia Hokanson totaled a season high in points and goals with five goals and two assists for seven points. This was the fourth game in Hokanson's career that she has scored at least five goals. It is also the third time in her career that she has had seven points in a game. The five goals extended Hokanson's goal streak to 14 games dating back to 2014.
• Along with scoring 19 goals, KSU had five players that had multiple goals and eight players that scored.
• Two players really got going against the Highlanders in Taylor McGhee and Sydney Farwick. The two leading goal scorers from a season ago combined for six goals and five assists on the afternoon to propel the Owls to victory.
Haley O'Donoghue had one of her best games in an Owls uniform on the defensive end of the field by winning a career high five ground balls along with picking up three ground balls as well as causing two turnovers. Coming into the game, O'Donoghue had won 10 draw controls in her career.
Connor Zophy has nine goals through seven games this season. During her freshman campaign last season she finished with 10 goals.
Emily Hallberg has had a great start to her sophomore season. She leads the team with 13 ground balls and is third on the team winning six draw controls. The 11 ground balls has already surpassed her output from her freshman season as she finished last year with 10 ground balls.
Taylor Catts scored her first career hat trick on Sunday against Radford. The freshman is fourth on the team with five on the season.
 
Next Up
Kennesaw State will start conference play against Jacksonville on Friday, April 1 at 5 p.m. The Dolphins have won the A-Sun Championship three years in a row.
