• Head coach Mike Sansing won his 1,000th career game on March 27, 2015 against USC Upstate in a 5-0 final. Sansing is now in his 27th season at the helm of the program, and his 24th as the Owls' skipper.
• KSU landed the Team of the Year award at the Atlanta Sports Awards ceremony. Max Pentecost, 2014 Johnny Bench Award winner, also took home the Collegiate Athlete of the Year award. Coach Sansing was also a Coach of the Year finalist on March 5, 2015.
Jordan Hillyer was honored as one of seven Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week winners on March 23, 2015.
• The Owls' win on the road at Georgia Tech Tuesday (April 21) night, it marked the first time in program's history KSU defeated the Yellow Jackets in back-to-back seasons on the road. Kennesaw State defeated GT last year at Russ Chandler for the first time since 1989.
• KSU took 2-of-3 from Atlantic Sun Conference foe Lipscomb on the road on April 24-26, defeating the Bisons in a regular-season series for the first time since 2011. In fact, the Owls defeated Lipscomb in a series on the road for the first time since 2006.

On Deck
• The Owls will turn their attention towards the Dolphins of Jacksonville University at Stillwell Stadium from May 8-10, playing in their third A-Sun series at home throughout the 54-game slate.
• Kennesaw State will look to snap a current two-game losing streak, both of which were non-conference games  to Auburn and Georgia State.
• The Owls and Dolphins will meet for the 10th season in a row since KSU joined the Atlantic Sun Conference in 2006.
• Kennesaw State holds a slight 15-12 advantage in the all-time series, going 6-3 against the Dolphins from 2010-12. JU has gone 4-2 over the last two years against the Owls.

• Kennesaw State will enter its final two weekends in conference play just 2.5 games out of first, trailing North Florida's 11-4 record at the top.
• The Owls have an 8-6 record in the A-Sun, but only five of their 14 games have been played at Stillwell Stadium.
• KSU is batting an impressive .324 as a team at home against conference foes, outscoring teams by a 32-20 margin.
• Kennesaw State has compiled four doubles and four home runs in those five games, while its pitching staff has totaled a 3.33 ERA led by a 0.00 ERA from Jordan Hillyer and a 1.20 ERA by Travis Bergen.
• A large part of KSU's success in outscoring its opponents by a +12 margin at home against conference opponents has been the middle innings. The Owls hold a dominant 24-4 margin in the fifth, sixth and seventh innings. The Owls are a +6 in the fifth, a +8 in the sixth and a +4 in the seventh at home against A-Sun opponents.
• In fact, the Owls are an impressive 19-5 when scoring the first run, helping when dominating the middle part of the game.

• To conclude the weekend, KSU's Gabe Friese will meet JU's Nathan Disch. Friese's 4-4 record and 3.65 ERA will battle Disch's 2-2 record and 5.40 ERA.

The Fab FOUR
• Another year brings lasting memories for many, but for the Kennesaw State's four seniors, these memories will last forever.
