2015: Was named a First Team All-Conference A-Sun selection…Named a two-time Atlantic Sun Conference Pitcher of the Week…Honored as a 2015 Atlantic Sun All-Academic selection…Served as one of the two captains for the Owls…Started in 14 games on the mound for the Owls, marking one of two pitchers to have started 14 games on the hill…Led the team in wins, compiling a 6-4 record…Led the team in innings pitched with a career-high 100.0 frames, which also led the Atlantic Sun Conference….Held opponents to an impressive .235 average, which ranked second on the team…struck out 84 batters on the season to issuing just 31 walks…Totaled 10 starts tossing 7.0 innings or more, and totaled two complete games...Recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts against USC Upstate (March 28)…Followed that outing with a four-hit, complete game shutout over Northern Kentucky (April 11)…Earned his first win of the season on the road at Jacksonville St. (Feb. 21), pitching 7.0 innings while allowing just one run on three hits…Struck out 11 batters in a four-hit, complete game, shutout on the road against Winthrop (March 14)…Earned his sixth win of the season at home against Jacksonville (May 9), allowing five runs in 7.1 innings of work and striking out eight batters.

2014: Quickly rose to one of the top starters on the staff for head coach Mike Sansing, putting together a 2.89 ERA and a 9-5 overall record... Ranked in the top 5 in the Atlantic Sun Conference with his 78 strikeouts... Made 17 appearances and 16 starts on the hill, tossing 99.2 innings of work while allowing just 32 earned runs... Had one of the best strikeout-to-walk ratios in the country, issuing just 15 free passes... Was named the Tallahassee Regional's Most Outstanding Player after earning two wins in four games including a 5-hit bid in the opening game in which he went a career-best 8.2 innings... Made four consecutive appearances at the end of the season without allowing an earned run... Had a pair of nine-strikeout games against Middle Tennessee (2/15) and at USC Upstate (4/18)... Allowed one earned run or fewer in 10 of his 17 appearances...

2013: Bergen put together a solid rookie season on the mound for Kennesaw State, tossing 15 innings with a 4.98 ERA... Went the first 12 innings of his colegiate career without giving up a run, earning his first win at rival Georgia State (4/8)... Compiled 16 strikeouts with no walks allowed and just two hits for extra bases for KSU... Saw action during the A-Sun Tournament against North Florida (5/24) and during the championship game against East Tennessee State (5/26)...

High School: During his senior year at Union Grove HS, Bergen went 5-1 in 38.1 innings pitched... Bergen recorded 64 strikeouts and maintained a 1.42 ERA.
