GREENWOOD, Ind. - Kennesaw State baseball placed three student-athletes on the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Tuesday morning.
A trio of sophomores in
Wesley Alig,
James McGee and
Cooper McMullen earned the recognition for their work both in the classroom and on the field, maintaining grade-point averages above 3.50 while participating in a majority of the Owls' contests during the 2026 season.
Alig, a finance major, owns a 3.92 GPA and appeared in 45 games this season, posting a .269/.354/.359 slash line with 21 runs scored and 19 RBIs while splitting time between second base and left field. McGee, a chemistry major with a 3.91 GPA, became a fixture in the KSU lineup during his sophomore campaign while excelling both offensively and behind the plate.
A Conference USA All-Academic Team selection, McMullen also earned his first CSC All-District honor after posting a perfect 4.0 GPA while serving as one of Kennesaw State's primary weekend starters during his first season with the Owls.
As a team, KSU baseball posted a 3.37 GPA during the 2026 season.
