» NEWS AND NOTES
This Week in KSU Lacrosse
»    The Owls have hit the road for spring break and are going to try and avenge last year's overtime loss to the Stetson Hatters on Friday, April 10 at 5 p.m.

Last Time Out
»    Last weekend, the Owls split a pair of games between Howard and Old Dominion. KSU beat Howard in dominating fashion 21-4, and then kept it close against Old Dominion in the first half, but the Monarch's pulled away in the second half to seal the victory.

Coach Llanes on Dominating the Draw Against Howard
»    "Our draw control team was a huge factor in the outcome of the game. Victoria and Sydney worked hard on positioning and placement and that lead to the offense producing. Defensively, Elaine (Bradley) did a nice job directing the defense in smart, patient plays in less than ideal playing conditions."

KSU as a Team
»    The four goals that the Owls held the Bison too was the least amount of goals the team has surrendered in three seasons. KSU's defense was so stout they only allowed nine shots on goal the entire game.
»    With Kennesaw State scoring 21 goals against Howard, it was the most goals the Owls have scored this season and tied for the second most goals they have ever scored in a game.
»    Coming into the season, the Owls team record for assists in a game was eight. So far this season, KSU has surpassed that number three times against Delaware State, Gardner Webb and Howard. Kennesaw State had 10 assists against the Hornets, nine assists against the Runnin' Bulldogs and 11 assists against Howard.

KSU Individually
» Led by Albertson's seven goals, eight Owls scored at least one goal against the Bison. Farwick was second on the team with four goals and Lucy Mills and Connor Zophy each had three.
» After not scoring in the first three games, Mills tallied a goal in seven of her next eight games. The most goals she has had in a game has been three against Coastal Carolina and Howard.
» Farwick leads the team in goals (31) and draw controls with (39). She is second on the team in assists (8), ground balls (29) and caused turnovers (14).
