Allison Senft set a new career high with 15 saves against LIU Brooklyn. Her 15th save came with the time running down and it preserved the victory for the Owls giving them their second victory of the season.

Sydney Farwick's offense came alive in the second half against the Blackbirds as she tallied all five of her points in the final 30 minutes. With the Owls coming out of the locker room trailing 7-4, she got the team rolling with a quick goal. Later in the game with the score tied at 10, she fed
Monica Albertson for the game-winning goal.
THE COMPETITIONGARDNER WEBB Gardner Webb is 0-7 in their first season as an NCAA Division I lacrosse program.
Amanda Steinmuller leads the Runnin' Bulldogs with seven goals. Emma Rose leads the team with 10 points as she has six goals and four assists.
Raygan Hall has seen the majority of the minutes in goal for Gardner Webb, and gives up 17.65 GAA and has a 35.7 percent save percentage.
Jacquelyn Duggins is in her first season as the head coach at Gardner Webb.

KSU as a Team » Out of the 138 shots taken by the Owls, 103 of them have been on frame, so they put their shots on target .746 percent of the time.
» The come from behind victory against LIU Brooklyn was the largest deficit that Kennesaw State has overcome in its three seasons as a program. KSU trailed the Blackbirds by four goals at 6-2 in the first half and trailed by three goals at halftime.
» The way Llanes set up the schedule this season, the returners and freshmen will have some strong competition leading into conference play, while also playing some programs that players are familiar with. Out of the ten non-conference matchups scheduled this season, the Owls will play five of the same teams that they played last year. Those teams are Elon, Vanderbilt, Davidson, Campbell and Coastal Carolina.

Monica Albertson's two goals against LIU Brooklyn were the Owls final two goals on the night as the first one tied the game at 10 and then her second one put the team up for good.

Laura Jordan has made an early impact on the defensive end. She leads the team with 20 ground balls and with 10 caused turnovers.

Taylor McGhee got back to her scoring ways as she led KSU with four goals in the game and three of those came in the first half.
