Alejandro Valencia defeated Rajanvir Dharni/Felix Ewers 8-3 at the No. 3 position, it was not enough to hold off Upstate who collected wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions respectively.

Alejandro Valencia was successful in his 7-6, 6-2 victory over Viktor Selander at the No. 2 singles position and junior
Jorge Wilton dominated Felix Ewers 6-3, 6-3 at the No. 6 position.

The Spartans claimed the rest of the points to clinch the match 5-2.

With the loss, KSU ends its regular season with an overall record of 7-11 and a conference record of 2-4.

The Owls will open play in the A-Sun Conference Tournament on Friday Apr. 17 in Jacksonville, Fla.
