JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Kennesaw State women's lacrosse team lost to the La Salle Explorers on Saturday, March 7 17-2 at a neutral site on the Jacksonville Dolphins field.
Emily Hallberg and
Sydney Farwick got the goals for the Owls.
The goal by Farwick ties her for the team lead with
Taylor McGhee with each of them having 13 goals.
Hallberg's goal was her third of the season.
Farwick also led the team with five draw controls, four caused turnovers and three ground balls.
Laura Jordan continued her strong defensive play forcing three caused turnovers, winning three draw controls and collecting two ground balls.
Allison Senft and
Elaine Bradley split time in the cage and combined to make 13 saves.
The Explorers had a small edge in draw controls at 12-9.
