Second Inning Leads Liberty to Friday Victory over Owls

KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State softball dropped game two of its series against Liberty, 14-0, at Bailey Park.
 
Before tonight's contest, 15 KSU softball alumni were recognized for their contributions to the program.
 
How It Happened 
The visitors opened the contest with two runs in first inning. Savannah Jessee went yard for the two-run shot. An 11-run outburst the following inning put the Lady Flames up by a baker's dozen.
 
Ava Brooke Strickland broke up the no hitter in the bottom of the fifth with a double.
 
On Deck
The Black and Gold will wrap up their regular season tomorrow against Liberty. Strickland, Macie Howes, and Olivia Tyson will be honored before the game for Senior Day. The contest is scheduled for noon and will be streamed on ESPN+.
