KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State softball fell to Jax State, 8-0, in the second game of the series.

Hannah Harvey had her second multi-hit game this week while Ava Guzowski tallied a hit and stole a base in her return to the lineup.

How It Happened
The Owls had a chance to strike in the bottom of the second. With two outs, Savannah Frachiseur and Guzowski hit back-to-back singles. When Guzowski stole second to put both players in scoring position, KSU popped up to end the inning.

After three scoreless innings, the Gamecocks broke the 0-0 tie in the fourth. The leadoff batter got on, and catcher Makayln Kyser went yard. Jax State added three more the next inning. Kyser had a bases-loaded single to bring home two.

Three runs scored in the top of the sixth to make it an 8-0 game. KSU couldn't drive anyone home in the following frame and the game ended in six innings due to the run rule.
