KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State softball dropped its series finale to Jax State, 11-3. Savannah Frachiseur hit her first homer as an Owl and Ana Gore went yard for the fifth time this season.

How It Happened
The Gamecocks got on the board in the top of the first inning. The second batter tripled and was brought home the next at-bat. Back-to-back two-out hits scored three more.

After a scoreless second inning, Jax State extended its lead to nine. It added its 10th run the following inning.

A two-run homer courtesy of Gore gave KSU its first runs of the afternoon. Hannah Harvey went opposite field for a double. The sophomore outfield then hit a mammoth shot off the scoreboard to cut the deficit.

The Owls homered once again in the fifth. Frachiseur took the 1-2 pitch and lifted it just over the left field wall for the home run.

Jax State got that run back and the game ended 11-3 after six.
