ACWORTH, Ga. – 23 members of the Kennesaw State men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Stan Sims Cross Country Opener at Allatoona Creek Park on Friday morning.
The KSU women and men both took home third place.
In the men's four mile run, freshman
Brian Limo posted a time of 19:22.75 to finish fourth and pace the Owls.
Diego Fernandes crossed the line in a time of 20:28.10 to take home 27th.
Matthew Hall ran a time of 20:39.65 to secure 31st.
Noah Sybert (20:59.78) and
Grant Crabtree (21:11.23) rounded out the scoring for the Owls finishing 40th and 42nd.
The women were led in the 5k by
Madison Seiler who ran a time of 17:48.12 to place fourth.
Natalie Cummings ran a time of 18:10.26 to place 12th. She was followed closely by
Madigan Wallace who finished in a time of 18:13.99 to place 14
th.
Emma Sullivan finished 18
th with a time of 18:36.26.
Anna James rounded out the scoring for KSU placing 24
th with a time of 18:48.01.
