Owls Fall to No. 2 Lady Vols Wednesday

KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State Owls (2-3) could not hold off the offensive firepower of No. 2 Tennessee Lady Volunteers (4-0) Wednesday night at Bailey Park.
The Owls garnered hits from catcher Macie Howes and first baseman Caroline Shumeyko.



KSU inserted two pinch hitters in Peri Rouillard and Abby Hammett with Alexandra Russo appearing on the base paths.



The game ended in the fifth inning with Tennessee claiming the 14-0 victory via run-rule.


Next Up
The Owls look to bounce back with the Kennesaw State Tournament Friday Feb. 16 starting with Ole Miss at 4 p.m.
