KENNESAW, Ga. – Five players scored in double-figures and Kennesaw State set a new school record with 66 rebounds as the Owls flew past Bryan College 94-59 in men's college basketball action on Wednesday night in the Convocation Center.

STAT OF THE GAME: The Owls lived in the paint, outscoring Bryan College by a 44-18 margin. That was also reflected in the team's final field goal percentages, with KSU finishing at 42.4% (36-of-85) while the Lions were just 22-of-75 for 29.3%.

OWL OF THE GAME: Adrian Wooley, last week's CUSA Freshman of the Week, flirted with a triple-double in just his third game as he finished with 13 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. The rebounds and assist totals were both season-highs.

THE FIRST HALF: KSU led 10-2 at the first media break and never let up, eventually going up by as much as 23 in the final minutes of the half before going into the halftime break with a 51-29 advantage. Simeon Cottle scored 12 points in the opening 20 minutes, while the Owls knocked down eight treys to build the 21-point lead.

THE SECOND HALF: A three-pointer from Jamil Miller started a 17-8 spurt in the first six minutes for KSU, putting the Owls up 72-37 with 13:35 to go in the game. KSU went exclusively to their bench after that, as 15 total players saw at least five minutes of action, and 12 would score, including the first career points from Dozie Onyirimba and Chase Clemmons.

NOTES 
-The previous record for most rebounds in a game was set last season, as KSU grabbed 64 in a win over Oakwood University on Nov. 7, 2023.
-Braedan Lue paced the Owls in scoring for the second time this season with 16, while he missed a double-double by just one rebound after finishing with nine.
-Also in double-figures was Cottle (14), Miller (11) and Frankquon Sherman (10).
-This was the first in a four-game homestand for KSU.

NEXT TIME OUT: The Owls are back in action on Saturday at 11 a.m. against Presbyterian in the Convocation Center.
