CLINTON, S.C. – For the first time in Kennesaw State men's basketball history, three Owls finished the game with 20 or more points to lead KSU to its fourth straight win, 94-84 on Saturday afternoon at Presbyterian in the Templeton Center. POSTGAME QUOTES
KSU HEAD COACH ANTOINE PETTWAY
"Thought it was a great job by our guys, coming out ready to play right from the start against a well-coached and hard playing Presbyterian team. I thought our guys competed on the defensive end and got the ball out in transition so we could play our style of play. Three 20-point scorers is a sign of how we were sharing the ball,
Terrell Burden was key in helping to move the ball around and
RJ Johnson came off the bench to play some quality minutes. I thought the team really came together and bonded to get this quality road win.
Armani Harris was a big help for us in the first half off the bench as well. We had some guys out with the flu,
Quincy Ademokoya was playing banged up after taking some hits in practice but he really toughed it out today. They really play hard for each other and have either other's backs. I challenged our team before the game to put their love for each other and their overall grit and toughness on display today and I thought they answered the bell. Super proud of these guys.."
