QUOTEABLE: "I just wanted to get out there hard and start off in the front. I tried to stay in the front as best I could and fight for that spot up front which I felt like I did. I think our team did really well tonight but I know we all have a lot we can improve on as the season moves along. I thought tonight was a great starting point for our team." –

"Not exactly what we wanted out there. Tonight was a good first step for this young team. I think moving forward we have a lot to look forward to. I think we will look a lot sharper in October and November when it really matters." –
