FLORENCE, Ala. – Kennesaw State fell 3-0 to North Alabama in an ASUN matchup Thursday night at the Bill Jones Athletic Complex.
North Alabama outshot KSU 14-5 in the first half and struck first after Alice Bussey converted a crosser with a header to take a 1-0 lead. Allanah Blye posted seven saves in the first half preventing further damage for KSU.
The Owls had limited opportunities over the first 45 minutes. KSU's leading scorer, Stella Allen, had the best chance of the half in the 42nd minute, but UNA's Payton Yates made a diving stop to keep the Owls off the board.
The Lions tacked on another goal in the 57th minute as Bussey connected on her second of the night and Olivia Anderson added one more to extend the lead to 3-0.
Kennesaw State finished with eight shots and four on-goal. Kendall Higgs led the KSU offense with three shots and two on-target. Blye ended the night with a game-high eight saves.

The Owls heads to Conway, Ark. for a matchup with Central Arkansas Sunday at 2 p.m.
