KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State Owls went on the offensive in a 3-0 triumph against Alabama A&M Monday at Fifth Third Bank Stadium
Kendall Baker opened the scoring at 17:24 with an assist from
Erin Harris.
Then, Harris delivered the second of the afternoon at 27:36 off a pass from
Carly Pressgrove.
The KSU (2-1-0) defense was stifling, with AAMU (0-2-0) limited to just one shot attempt which occurred in the first minute of play.
In the second half,
Danielle Vos scored her first of the fall on assists from
Sydney Crowley and
Camryn Simmons.
Tiffany Sornpao had one save in one chance.
Dylan Pixton played most of the second half in goal. It was the second consecutive clean sheet for Sornpao and the Owls.
The Owls totaled 16 shots, with 13 on-goal.
KSU continues its five-game home stretch Friday night against Furman University.
