Tiffany Sornpao to improve to 3-0 for the first time since transitioning to NCAA Division I in 2005. Kennesaw State's best start to a season came in its inaugural year of 2002 when it won its first 18 match and finished the season 18-0-1 while competing at the NCAA Division II level.

Coach Speak
"Tonight was a very tough win for our ladies," head coach
Benji Walton said. "When you go on the road and play such a physically strong and organized team like Troy, it takes a full team effort. I thought our players did an excellent job of adjusting to their style and playing calm in a tough environment.
Â
"It was a huge help to get two early goals that allowed us to calm things down a bit and play composed," Walton added. "I am extremely proud of the team as a whole."
