THE STORYLINE:
· Kennesaw State made a big second-half comeback outscoring Stetson 13-6 to clinch a 19-16 road victory in Deland, Florida to move the Owls to 2-1 in ASUN play.

Siena Gore had a huge day on the offensive end scoring seven goals.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
· The first half was one of runs and Stetson took the first swing scoring the first three goals. The Owls came back with the next two goals.
· After the early deficit, Kennesaw State fought to get back in the game with three straight goals with
Connor Zophy scoring twice and
Anna Giulitto scoring once to tie the game at 6.
· Stetson closed the half with four straight goals and two of them coming in the final 30 seconds being a man down to lead 10-6 at halftime.
· The Owls scored the first three goals out of the locker room to pull back within one at 10-9 and tied the score at 11 after an
Emily Napierala goal forcing Stetson to use a timeout.
· In all, the Owls scored six of the first seven goals in the second half to take their first lead of the game at 12-11.
· After Stetson ran off three goals to go back up two, KSU went on a 7-2 run from there to close out the second half 13-6 and to win the game 19-16. Â
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:

Siena Gore had a career high with seven goals in the game. She also won five draw controls.
·
Abby Squires finished with three goals including the last two for the Owls to put the game out of reach to secure the victory.
· Zophy got the scoring going early, but she also led the team along with
Laura Jordan with two caused turnovers.
·
Lauren Hoffman made eight saves in the game to help get the road win.
