THE STORYLINE:
· Kennesaw State came out ready to play on Senior Day storming out to a huge early lead and going up by 10 early in the second half.
There was a weather delay with 24:03 remaining on the clock, but nothing changed once the teams came back out to finish the game as both teams traded goals until the end of the game.
Connor Zophy had a big day for the Owls leading the way with five goals and one assist.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
· The Owls scored six of the first seven goals and were up 11-2 at halftime. Five different Owls scored to help build the early lead.
· Early in the second half, Kennesaw State got up by 10 goals, but there was a lightning delay. Out of the delay, KSU didn't allow any type of comeback as they scored three of the first four goals to cruise to an ASUN victory.

· It was the program's first victory over Old Dominion and the third straight season the Owls have won on their Senior Day. It was also the largest margin of victory over any ASUN school that wasn't Delaware State or Howard.
· The Owls were 6-11 on their free-position attempts for the game, but went 6-8 in the first half to help build their lead early.
· Zophy had six points in her final game in Fifth Third Bank Stadium as she finished with five goals and one assist.
·
Siena Gore had four goals and eight draw controls giving her 100 draw controls on the season. She set an ASUN record for draw controls in the previous game against Coastal Carolina.
·
Abby Squires had a career high with three goals in the game. She also won three draw controls.
