KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State men's basketball picked up a 98-75 win in its final non-conference game of the year against Carver Bible in the KSU Convocation Center on Tuesday, January 2.

Kosta Jankovic had a career high and led the team with 19 points. He went 9-13 from the floor.

Nick Masterson and
Jordan Jones were right behind him finishing with 16 points each.

The Owls shot 62 percent from the floor in the first half helping them build a monster 27-point lead at halftime.

For the game, KSU shot 58 percent from the floor and had 24 assists on 40 field goals.

The win gives the Owls four on the season as they have now completed non-conference play.

Kennesaw State will now turn its attention to Lipscomb as it hosts the Bison this Saturday, January 6 at 4:30 p.m. in the KSU Convocation Center to begin ASUN Play.

- The Owls finished non-conference play with a win against Carver Bible to push their record to 4-11. All of their wins have been at home this season.
- Kennesaw State scored 57 points in the first half against Carver Bible. That is the most points the Owls have scored since the 2015-16 season when KSU scored 59 in the second half against Reinhardt.
- The Owls held a 27 point lead at halftime over the Cougars. That is the largest halftime lead since the Owls played Stetson last season on their home floor. KSU led 52-25 at the break against the Hatters.
- Kennesaw State shot 62 percent from the floor in the first half. That is the third time this season that KSU has shot over 60 percent from the floor in a half. The other two were against Tennessee State and Samford in the second half.
- The Owls made 40 field goals in the game. The second most field goals that Kennesaw State has had in a game this season is 32 against Piedmont.
- KSU had 24 assists on 40 field goals against Carver. That is also a season high.
- Freshman Markus Smith got his first collegiate action in an Owls uniform.
