MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Kennesaw State women's soccer team fell victim to a late goal and suffered a 2-1 setback at Middle Tennessee Friday in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

The Blue Raiders (2-4) scored the game-winner in the 85th minute as they rallied from a 1-0 deficit to hand the Owls (5-2-2) their first road loss of the season.
FIRST GOAL
After a scoreless first half, senior
Ashtah Das broke the deadlock, scoring from the top of the box in the 55th minute to give the Owls a 1-0 lead. It was her team-leading fourth goal of the season. Sophomore

EQUALIZER
The Blue Raiders tied the score seven minutes later on a goal by Sam DeBien in the 62nd minute.

"I give full credit to Middle Tennessee. They played a great game against us and made it very difficult for us to break them down and get good looks," head coach
Benji Walton said. "They were well organized and made the most of their opportunities. This is a learning moment for our team and we will have to regroup and get ready for a very good Furman team on Sunday."
