THE STORYLINE:Â
· Jacksonville jumped on Kennesaw State early in the first half as they celebrated senior day scoring the first five goals and continued to stretch their lead out throughout the first half.
Lauren Hoffman got her first start of the season and came up with 13 saves in the net.

HOW IT HAPPENED:Â
· The Owls got two goals in the first 30 minutes from
Taylor McGhee and
Olivia Hokanson, but that wasn't enough to keep pace with the Jacksonville offense as they opened the game scoring five straight goals and 12 of the first 13 goals.
· Hoffman made 10 of her 13 saves in the first half against the potent Jacksonville offense.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
· Sophomore goalie
Lauren Hoffman set a new career high with 13 saves and a .361 save percentage.

Olivia Hokanson and
Taylor McGhee had great offensive weekends as Hokanson totaled eight goals in the two games and McGhee totaled five goals. McGhee is now the team leader with 35 goals on the season.
