THE STORYLINE: 
· Looking to get their fourth win in a row, Kennesaw State women's lacrosse went on an early 7-0 run to take a 7-1 lead over the Presbyterian Blue Hose at Fifth Third Bank Stadium. The Owls pushed their lead out to as much as 12 in the second half behind a complete team effort to move their record to 4-2 on the season.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED: 
· After Presbyterian scored the opening goal, Sydney Farwick scored the first three goals for KSU and assisted on the fourth goal to put the Owls out front early.
· Kennesaw State kept their foot on the gas and closed out the half with two straight goals to lead 10-3 into the break.
· PC tried to get back into the game, but Haley Swift and Taylor McGhee closed the door on any comeback with four-straight goals for KSU to go up 10 and cruise to the 20-9 victory.
 
INSIDE THE NUMBERS: 
· This was the fourth win in a row for Kennesaw State. The team ended its five-game home stand 4-1.
· The Owls posted 20 goals for the third time in four games. Coming into the season, KSU had scored over 20 goals three times in the program's first four seasons.
· The team caused 16 turnovers against Presbyterian setting a new school record. Sydney Farwick led the team with three caused turnovers, but Laura Jordan, Connor Zophy, RoseAnna Schiemer and Maura Palandro each had two caused turnovers.
· Farwick got the Owls going early with her offense, but had another complete game finishing with four goals, two assists, eight draw controls, five ground balls and three caused turnovers. It is the third time this season she has scored at least four goals in a game and second time this season that she has won eight draw controls in a game.
· Katie DeFine, Grace Lascara and Anna Giulitto each scored their first collegiate goals against Presbyterian.
· Alex Bunn got the win in the net coming up with five saves for the Owls.
 
UP NEXT
Kennesaw State will start ASUN play at Detroit this Friday, March 24 at 4 p.m. up in Michigan.
