Game Preview
After securing their first victory of the season, Kennesaw State is set to play Radford on Saturday, March 11 at 12:00 p.m.
 
It is the third of five straight games that Kennesaw State will play at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
 
The game will be broadcasted on ASUN-TV.
 
Kennesaw State Team Notes
• Against Gardner Webb, KSU had an offensive explosion scoring 21 goals against the Runnin' Bulldogs. It was the fourth time in program history that the Owls have topped 20 goals in a game.
• Overall, the team had 29 points in the game. The most points in a game by Kennesaw State was a season ago against Radford when the team had 32.
• The Owls had five different players score multiple points in the game. They were led by Connor Zophy, who had seven goals and one assist. The others were Sydney Farwick, Haley Swift, Emily Napierala and Taylor McGhee.
• In the two games played at home, Farwick has been dynamic on the offensive end. She leads the team with nine goals and two assists. Farwick also leads the team with 11 draw controls this season. Against Gardner Webb, she won seven draw controls for a season high.
• Zophy's seven goals was the third most for an Owl all-time and set a new career high. Her previous career high in a game was three goals.
• Freshman Emily Napierala has had at least one assist in every game and leads the team with five of them this season. She is third on the team in points with eight.
Izzy Palermo is tied for third on the team with four goals. She has scored in each of the first three games.
Taylor McGhee came up big on the draw against Marquette winning six draw controls in the game. She won 6 of the 14 won by the Owls in the game. For the season, she is second on the team winning 10 of them.
Alex Bunn has started all three games this season and has made double-digit saves in two of the three games. For her career, she has three double-digit save games with two of them coming this season.
Laura Maness got her first victory as Kennesaw State head coach against Gardner Webb. She is in her first season with the Owls after coaching at Detroit. She rounded out her staff with Devon Schneider and Shannon Nee, who both played division I lacrosse at a high level. Schneider played at the University of Florida winning four regular season titles with two being in the American League Conference and two being in the Big East compiling a 69-14 record as a player. Nee started all four years in the goal at University of Connecticut and was named an IWLCA All-American, made the IWLCA All-Northeast Region First Team for times and won Big East Goalkeeper of the Year two times.

Kennesaw State will host Army on Tuesday, March 14 at 2 p.m. in Fifth Third  Bank Stadium. It will be broadcasted on ASUN-TV.
