Shannon Nee

Shannon Nee enters her fourth season at Kennesaw State in 2019-20, overseeing the Owls’ goalies.
 
Nee helped lead the Owls to a program record 13.57 goals against average during the 2018 campaign. This past season, she oversaw a defensive effort that racked up 167 saves, the second-most in single-season history.
 
The Owl keepers finished the 20190 campaign with a .382 save percentage to rank tied for second on the KSU single-season record list.
 
Under her tutelage, Alex Bunn broke the KSU single-game and single-season records for saves in 2019, logging 17 saves in KSU’s season-opener at Arizona State. For the year, Bunn finished second in the ASUN with 162 total saves, 50 more saves than the previous single-season record. Bunn is also the first Owl in KSU history to record over 200 career saves, grabbing a program record 302 career saves.
 
Nee graduated from University of Connecticut in May of 2016 after starting all four years in goal for the Huskies. She was named an IWLCA All-American, made the IWLCA All-Northeast Region First Team four consecutive seasons and won Big East Goalkeeper of the Year two times.
 
As a coach, she has worked with the X-treme lacrosse club and was a camp counselor at UConn, Princeton and Villanova from 2013-16.
 
Nee is originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
