KENNESAW, Ga. – Kennesaw State got a big 81-74 win over Bethune-Cookman on its home floor on Saturday, December 16.
The Owls snapped a losing streak by having five players score in double figures led by

Kennesaw State got off to a fast start behind a couple of
Nick Masterson threes to lead 11-4 early.
The Owls extended that lead to as much as nine by holding Bethune-Cookman scoreless for over four minutes late in the first half, but the Wildcats used a 6-0 run to cut the Owls lead to 33-30 at the half.
KSU pushed their lead back to seven right out of the locker room behind a couple of
Jordan Jones jumpers and held onto that lead the entire second half.
Bethune-Cookman got that lead down to three several times over the final 20 minutes, but Kennesaw State refused to relinquish the lead.
The Owls led for 37:11 of the 40 minutes in the game with their biggest lead being nine two times.
A major key in the victory was cleaning up the boards. KSU outrebounded BCU 48-36. Wilson led the Owls with nine rebounds.
