SEATTLE, Wa.
– Kennesaw State men's basketball had a tough end to their west coast road trip losing their battle to Seattle 66-54.

The Owls struggled on the offensive end shooting 35 percent from the floor, but James Scott and Tyler Hooker both reached double figures as Scott led the team with 16 and Hooker had 10.

With 7:13 remaining in the first half, Kennesaw State trailed 21-17. Seattle edged out their lead to double digits late in the first half, but a jumper from Scott cut the deficit to seven at the half.

In the second half, the Red Hawks pushed their lead back to double digits and KSU couldn't cut into the lead.

The loss drops the Owls to 1-7 on the season.
