KENNESAW, Ga. – On a wet and rainy afternoon, the Kennesaw State women's soccer team was held to just three shot attempts and fell 1-0 to visiting North Florida in an ASUN Conference match Sunday at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.

The Ospreys (9-4-0, 3-2-0) scored the decisive goal 15 minutes into the contest and played strong defense against the Owls, who fell to 6-6-3 overall and 1-3-1 in ASUN Conference play.

DECISIVE GOAL
Thais Reiss scored the match's lone goal as she received a cross from Krista Colubiale and converted a shot from the left side of the box at the 15:02 mark.

"We had a tough result today," head coach
Benji Walton said. "North Florida is a good team and is having a great year. They were able to finish their chance and we couldn't quite find it today. We will keep working and get ready for a tough game (NJIT) next week."

NEXT UP
Kennesaw State concludes its regular-season home schedule on Saturday (Oct. 14) when it hosts NJIT at Fifth Third Bank Stadium beginning at noon. It will mark Senior Day as the program will be honoring six individuals who completing their eligibility this fall.
