Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Andy Eggerth's Thoughts on the Final Day of the ASUN Championship
"Our men continue to impress!

"This was a different championship than before. We always miss our outgoing seniors, but this group is particularly special both because they were our earliest recruiting class and because they were flawless in winning championships. The tenacity and fight they have is difficult to replace. This grit was exemplified in Zac Davis and our 4x400m relay as he refused to give up the win in a thrilling finish.

"I do have to thank Coach Agne (Eggerth) for taking one for the team. Just like the athletes, the coaches work toward the championships. She was willing to recruit the Georgia high school state championship to be sure the program continues to thrive. I know this is a difficult championship for any coach to miss and her athletes certainly missed her being here.

"I also want to thank Dr. Papp for his leadership during my six years here, and his support of athletics. He has certainly ushered in a new era for KSU!  His hire of (Athletics Director) Vaughn Williams was probably one of his best moves. Which leads to my next gratitude for the continual support and growth our athletic administration provides for the track and field program!"
