SPARTANBURG, S.C. – The Kennesaw State men's tennis team dropped Sunday's Atlantic Sun Conference dual match to host USC Upstate at the USC Upstate Tennis Complex, 5-2.

The Owls (9-8, 1-4) got a solid overall performance from Manuel Castellanos, who won his doubles match with teammate Simon Pritchard, 6-1, before taking his singles match in three sets (6-2, 4-6, 6-4) and recorded a perfect day.

Sam Slade also came out victorious in singles play for Kennesaw State, taking a hard-fought three-set match (3-6, 6-3, 10-7) over Rajanvir Dharni of USC Upstate to help the Owls earn their second point of the day/
