ON DECKKennesaw State returns home to Bailey Park on Thursday (Mar. 10) when it hosts Boston College in a single game beginning at 5 p.m.
The Owls are currently 12-5 on season after suffering a late-inning 3-1 loss at Jacksonville State on Tuesday (Mar. 8). Kennesaw State boasts a 10-1 home record and has won four in a row at Bailey Park.
ABOUT BOSTON COLLEGEBoston College is 12-9 on the season heading into Wednesday's (Mar. 9) game at Georgia State. The Eagles are coming off a 4-3, 10-inning loss at Georgia on Tuesday. The loss snapped a seven-game winning streak that included a 5-0 mark at the Mercer Tournament last weekend. Boston College is batting .278 as a team and has three players hitting .300 or better, including sophomore Jordan Chimento who is batting .383 with three home runs and 15 RBIs. The Eagles pitching staff has compiled a 2.64 ERA and is led by Allyson Frei, who has posted a 7-5 record and 3.22 ERA while starting a team-high 12 games.
