Bullpen Action
- Head Coach Mike Sansing got consistent pitching out of the bullpen from Drew Reeves, Logan Hutchinson, and Brian Exley last week.
- Reeves is fifth in the bullpen with most appearances (10) has made six appearances out of the last eight games.
- Logan Hutchinson earned his second win on the bump Friday afternoon against Towson, pitching a career-high 4.1 innings.
- Hutchinson is 2-1 with a 4.05 ERA in 13 appearances this season, totaling 11 strikeouts in 13.1 frames of work.
- Brian Exley also made key contributions to the pen last weekend, working a career-high 3.0 innings on March 26 against Towson.
- Exley allowed just three hits and no runs in the outing.
- Exley is 0-0 with a 2.25 ERA in seven appearances for the Owls.  

Erwin's Hot Bat
- Chris Erwin batted .500 (5-for-10) with a team-high four RBI against Towson.  
- The left-handed hitter also scored four runs and totaled 11 bases and a 1.100 slugging percentage over the weekend.  
- Erwin played a key role offensively in the ballgame against Towson. The two-way player, who made the start in game one of Friday's twinbill, went 4-for-5 with three RBI at the plate – a new career-high for hits in a single game.
- Chris Erwin is the first Owl to hit two home runs in a single game since Andy Chriscaden on March 28, 2012.
- Chris Erwin had a career-high four hits in the second game of the twinbill.
- For the season, Erwin ranks second on the team in batting average (.342), fourth in hits (25), first in RBI (15) and second in home runs (3).

Helms' Hot Bat, Part II
- Sophomore Griffin Helms has been a force at the plate this season for the Owls, batting a team-high .381 (16-for-42) with six RBI.
- Helms has a .381 slugging percentage and a .426 on-base percentage.
- Over the weekend, Helms went 4-for-5 at the plate with a run and an RBI against Towson – a career-high for hits in a game.

Getting Offensive
- Over the three-game weekend series against Towson, the Owls batted .342 as a team with seven extra base hits.  
- The Owls outscored Towson 22-21 and out-hit Towson 38-36 in the series, totaling a .459 slugging percentage.  
- For the season, the Owls are batting .291 as a team with 146 runs scored on 247 hits. KSU has totaled 59 extra base hits and a .412 slugging percentage.  

Playing On The Road
- KSU has played just five games on the road this season, totaling a 1-4 mark away from Stillwell Stadium.
- The Owls are batting .267, out-hitting opponents 50-37 and has seven extra base hits.
- Austin Upshaw is the lone Owl to hit a home run on the road, which was against Mercer last Sunday.
- LaDonis Bryant (.500, 5-for-10). Jeremy Howell (.474, 9-for-19) and David Chabut (.375, 3-for-8) have been key offensive players at the plate on the road.
- Reliever Richard Lovelady is 1-0 with a 1.69 ERA in a team-high four appearances on the road.
