KENNESAW, Ga. - Kennesaw State baseball announced its plans for the 33rd Annual Shake Memorial Golf Tournament presented by The Champion Law Firm on Tuesday afternoon, as the event will be held on Friday, Oct. 2, at Cobblestone Golf Course.
This year marks the sixth instance that the alumni golf tournament is named "The Shake Memorial Golf Tournament," sporting the same nickname as longtime KSU baseball supporter, Fred Stillwell. As one of the university's earliest donors, Stillwell became a close friend to the staff and players of the Owls' baseball program. In Feb. 2021, the tournament's namesake sadly passed away at the age of 95.
The tournament is open for registration and costs $150 per person. This includes a lightweight KSU hoodie, green and cart fees, a bucket of range balls, lunch and beverages. Registration opens at Cobblestone Golf Course in Acworth, Ga. at 8 a.m., with the day's shotgun start set for 9 a.m. Although not included in the registration price, mulligans may be purchased for $25 each.
Those interested in signing up for the 33rd Annual Shake Memorial Golf Tournament presented by The Champion Law Firm can do so by clicking here, or by registering on the day of the event.
