Biography

2018
Led the team and is fifth in the ASUN with 13 stolen bases … second in the conference in triples with 4 … fifth on the team in hits with 50 … second on the team in on-base percentage at .392 … hit .294 on the season … played in 50 games and started in 48 of those.

2017
  • Competed in 25 games and made 14 starts in the outfield for the Owls in his second season with the Black and Gold.
  • Compiled a .226 batting average (12-for-53) with one double and two home runs.
  • Tallied nine runs batted in and slugged .358 with an on-base percentage of .328.
  • Recorded his first two hits of the season versus Winthrop (Feb. 25), going 2-for-3 with a run scored and a double.
  • Went 2-for-4 with a run scored at Middle Tennessee (March 5).
  • Hit a home run, driving in three runs versus Western Carolina (May 8).
  • Went 2-for-5 with a run scored versus FGCU (May 19).
2016:
  • Competed in 23 games in his first season, making 15 starts in the outfield.
  • Compiled a .250 (14-56) batting average.
  • Tallied one double and five RBI.
  • Ranked second on the team with four stolen bases.
  • Made his Owl debut versus VCU (Feb. 19), going 1-for-6 at the plate.
  • Went 2-for-3 with two RBI at UAB (March 4).
  • Drove in two RBI versus Towson (March 25).

PREVIOUS SCHOOL (Georgia Perimeter College) :
  • Bryant is a transfer from Georgia Perimeter College, where he competed in five games as a sophomore.
  • As a freshman at GPC, Bryant received the Golden Glove award and first team All-Conference.
  • Named first team All-Region during his sophomore, junior and senior years.
  • Tabbed Most Valuable Player Award in the region as a senior.
  • Also broke the stolen base record for the state of Georgia during his senior year of high school.
  • Played with Dotham Post 12 in the summer of his junior year, finishing the season with the best batting average of .405 at the plate.
