Tennis Preview
The Kennesaw State men's tennis squad will enter the weekend to begin its longest homestand of the year, and is scheduled to play five dual matches over the next 16 days. The Owls are set to begin the homestand by hosting Alabama A&M and Louisiana on Saturday (March 12) and Sunday (March 13), respectively.

The Series
Kennesaw State will entered the weekend with a perfect 5-0 mark over Alabama A&M, dating back to the 2008-09 season. In fact, the Owls have only dropped one point in five matches, earning a clean sweep in the others, and hold a 34-1 mark in points earned in a dual match.

Meanwhile, Kennesaw State and Louisiana will square off for the first time in programs' history.

The Last Time Out
The Kennesaw State men's tennis team fell to host Eastern Kentucky, 5-2, Saturday (March 5) afternoon in a non-conference dual match showdown at the Tom Higgins Tennis Courts.

For the sixth consecutive match, the Owls got the all-important doubles point to jumpstart the dual match and take a 1-0 lead. Down 0-5 in the breaker, doubles tandem Lucas de Torres Curth and Jorge Wilton clinched the doubles point (7-6, 5) for KSU in a come-from-behind, dramatic finish over Eastern Kentucky to seal the point.

In singles play, Simon Pritchard (6-4, 6-4) gave the Owls their second point on the day, but the Colonels won five consecutive single matches for the remainder of the day to earn the win. For the week, Pritchard went 2-0 in singles play and 2-0 in doubles play, proving to be the anchor for KSU.
